TRADISI KENDURI DARI JAWA Oleh: Putri Cahya Ramadhanti Adat istiadat merupakan kebiasaan bersama dari suatu kelompok secara turun-temurun. Indonesia sebagai negara yang terdiri dari pulau-pulau, memiliki banyak sekali adat istiadat di setiap daerahnya. Salah satu adat istiadat yang akan saya bahas kali ini adalah tradisi kenduri di kampung halaman saya, Boyolali, Jawa Tengah.      Kenduri atau kenduren merupakan yang erat kaitannya dengan upacara selametan. Sehingga bisa dikatakan bahwa kendurenan juga merupakan bagian dari selametan atau pun juga keduanya adalah hal yang sama. yakni kegiatan berdoa bersama yang dihadiri oleh masyarakat kampung setempat. Di kampung saya, acara kenduri dilakukan di sebuah lapangan besar yang dekat dengan pemakaman umum desa setempat.
